Aims and Scope

Vision
The Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Marketing Research publishes articles with a fundamental, applied, and descriptive-analytical perspective. The thematic area of ​​the journal is marketing, focusing on the pillars and elements of tourism and hospitality. The outputs of this journal, in the form of articles extracted from theoretical and field studies, are effective in formulating programs and policies related to the development and progress of the country's tourism industry and will be instrumental in realizing the mission of the university in the field of transferring, disseminating, and applying knowledge in solving the issues and problems of the country's tourism industry.

 

Objectives
The main objective of publishing the Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Marketing Research is, in fact, a response to this concern, which is to present and examine important theoretical and scientific issues, problems, questions, and challenges raised in the field of tourism marketing in today's dynamic and rapidly changing world, and to integrate and output the activities and reflections of researchers in order to find answers to them within the framework of the specific task of a specialized, scientific, and research journal. We hope to enhance the effectiveness of the journal at various levels by drawing researchers' attention to current issues. Therefore, the journal's goals, with the approach of "improving the status quo and reaching/remaining in the desired status" in the field of tourism and hospitality marketing, are:

  • Ontological: idea generation, context creation, flow creation, and discourse creation;
  • Epithetological: theory testing and theory generation;
  • Methodological: expansion and application of existing methods, tools, and methodologies and introduction of new methods, tools, and methodologies with a quantitative, qualitative, and mixed nature;
  • Value-oriented: originality-oriented, innovational, problem-oriented, and localization in research;
  • Networking: beyond the scope of the scientific field of tourism and interdisciplinary synergy.
