The effect of inclusive green leadership on green work engagement with the mediating role of green intrinsic motivation in hotels in Isfahan city

Abstract

The aim of the present study was to determine the impact of inclusive green leadership on employees' green work engagement with the mediating role of green intrinsic motivation. The current research was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of correlational data collection. The statistical population of the present study was made up of all the employees of four-star hotels in Isfahan, numbering 440 people, and 205 people were selected as a sample through the stratified random sampling method through Morgan's table.The research tool was the standard green inclusive leadership questionnaire of Bhutto et al. (2021), the standard internal motivation questionnaire of Sabz Lee et al. (2020) and the standard questionnaire of Sabz Aboramdan (2022). and after the necessary terms, validity was confirmed, and on the other hand, the reliability of the questionnaires was estimated by Cronbach's alpha method as 0.80, 0.82, and 0.85, respectively, and data analysis at the inferential level including structural equation modeling. Was performed. The findings showed that inclusive green leadership has a positive effect on green work participation, the coefficient of which was 0.55, and green intrinsic motivation played a role as a mediating variable in the relationship between green inclusive leadership and green work participation
